A new administrative chief for the Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus will be taking the reins next month.
The organization on Monday said it hired Patrick Roehrenbeck as its executive director effective March 1. He replaces Matthew Arnold, who said he’s relocating to Seattle and initially taking a temporary position with Flying House Productions, home of the Seattle men’s and women’s choruses.
Roehrenbeck has experience with a number of local nonprofits, including the Contemporary American Theatre Co., Ohio Historical Society and Ohio Alliance for Arts Education. He has a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Dayton.
Board President Neal Hauschild in a release said Roehrenbeck “brings tremendous experience to the role and will be an invaluable asset as we pursue our mission of changing lives through song and promoting social justice through artistic performances.”
